ThreadOut is a free thread unroller for Twitter/X. Long threads are hard to read on X: the text is broken into dozens of small boxes, replies interrupt the order, "show more" hides tweets, and the feed pulls you away before you finish. ThreadOut fixes that. Paste a link to any tweet in a public thread and ThreadOut rebuilds the whole thread as a single page you can read top to bottom, like an article.
Every unrolled page keeps the thread in the author's original order, with images, videos, and quoted tweets in place. There are no ads in the reading area, no pop-ups, and no account. The page is server-rendered and loads fast on a phone.
Popular threads get extra help from AI. A short AI summary sits at the top of the page, so you can judge a 60-tweet thread in about ten seconds. Topic tags are generated for each thread, and every tag has its own hub page. At the end of a thread, ThreadOut suggests related threads that share those tags, so one good thread leads to the next.
ThreadOut also works as a reading site on its own. The homepage lists recently unrolled popular threads, ranked by engagement on X, so there is always something to read even if you did not come with a link. Author pages collect every unrolled thread from the same writer. Tag pages collect threads by topic.
The tool respects the source. Tweet text and media belong to their authors: each unrolled page credits the author, links to their X profile, and links back to the original thread on X. Authors can request removal of a thread.
