CandorKit

Short surveys. No account. Seven-day window.

2026-09-08

CandorKit is a free web tool for short, low-risk feedback surveys. It is designed for facilitators, small teams, and people collecting feedback after a product experience, session, or workshop. Creators build a survey in the browser without opening an account, and respondents can answer through a shared link without signing in. Each survey supports one to five questions and up to 100 responses.

To get started, choose the Team check-in, Product feedback, or Event feedback starter, or begin with a blank survey. Each starter provides editable questions. You can rewrite the survey title and welcome note, change each prompt, add guidance for respondents, and choose which questions are required. The builder also lets you reorder, duplicate, or remove questions within the five-question limit. A live respondent preview shows the question you are editing, so you can check the wording and answer format before publishing.

Five answer formats cover different kinds of feedback. A rating question uses a scale from 1 to 5 with editable labels at both ends. Single-choice and multiple-choice questions offer predefined answers, while short-answer and long-answer fields leave room for written feedback. Creators can combine these formats in one survey, such as a required rating followed by an optional written explanation. Keep the questions focused on low-risk topics and ask respondents to leave out names and other identifying details.

Publishing creates two separate links. Share the respondent link with the people you want to invite, and keep the full private results link for reviewing answers. The results view provides summaries and individual responses, with a refresh control and CSV export. The CSV gives the survey owner a downloadable copy for later review. Anyone who holds the full private results link can read the answers, so it should not be included in the invitation or posted publicly.

The free survey has a seven-day window. Submitted responses remain available in the private results view until the survey expires. At expiry, both the respondent link and the results link stop working. The next daily cleanup deletes the expired survey and its responses from CandorKit's live database. Export any results you need before expiry and decide how long to keep them. The service's cleanup does not delete CSV files, screenshots, or other copies that a survey owner has already saved.

CandorKit does not automatically attach account IDs, IP addresses, user agents, cookie IDs, or a cross-survey user history to responses. It stores the survey content, submitted answers, timestamps, an expiry time, and a hash of the private results credential. Written answers can still identify someone, and Cloudflare processes ordinary connection metadata to deliver and protect the service. CandorKit therefore does not provide network-level or guaranteed anonymity. Do not use it for regulated research, health or legal records, protected reporting, emergencies, child data, employee-case investigations, or highly sensitive information.

The current seven-day survey is free. A longer-retention paid plan is only planned and is not available today; there is no checkout.
